The Himalayan Vaidyashala panchakarma spa offers traditional and Kerala pancha karma, yoga, meditation, nature hikes, herb identifying tours, sacred Ganga bathing and more. These treatments will help you reduce stress, look and feel 10 years younger, and rejuvenate your spirit and soul through your pleasurable yoga, meditation, and traditional and Kerala-style pancha karma spa treatments.
You may choose from our Ayurveda spa treatments options - rejuvenation and therapeutic therapies:
A: Rejuvenation: pamper your senses and improve your health and longevity. Experience divine blissful massages and medicated steam baths.
B: Therapeutic: naturally, safely, and easily address your health issues through herbal healing. Different treatments address various health issues, such as arthritis, diabetes, hypertension, overweight, insomnia, asthma, atherosclerosis, immune boosting, paralysis, parkinsonism, etc.
- Pizhichill – Is excellent for healing arthritis, rheumatism, weak muscles, atherosclerosis, asthma, diabetes, and immune boosting.
- Navarakkizhi – Is best for wasted muscles, immune boosting and weight gain.
- Shiro Basti – is indicated for neuralgia, hemicrania, optic atrophy, facial paralysis, and all cranial nerve/neurological diseases.
- Shiro Dhara – is ideal for stress, mental disturbances, cervical spondylosis, and chronic headaches, hypertension.
- Shiro Lepa – best targets migraine headaches and insomnia.
Note: As per Ayurvedic tradition, female clients receive therapies from female practitioners, and male clients receive therapies from male practitioners.
Length of Spa Treatments
Day-Spa – for those passing to or from holy spots like Gangotri, relieve the stress of travel and treking.
Weekend – for couples and families wishing to take a true ‘stress-free’ weekend in nature, balancing and restoring yourself for the coming work week.
Long-term Sessions are offered in 7, 14, 21, and 30 days for complete equilibrium of the body, mind, and soul.

Q: Tell me more about the daycare services
A: Children join the local playschool for 3-4 hours each day. Classes are in English. Children sing songs, poems, play activity games, learn
how to eat, posture, manners, anad speak. Afterwards, one of the school's loving women teachers personally cares for your child until you are ready for them.
Q: I need pancha karma, but I am still nursing, can I come and leave my child with daycare?
A: Yes, that will be fine
Q: Can I become Kerala pancha karma practitioner?
A: Yes, you can study for 1 month and learn the therapies mentioned on this page. Prices are the same, $2,000 USD plus cost of herbs. This fee includes room, board, and training. Registration fee is the same 5%.
Social Entrepreneurism
The directors have created a dual-service center. In addition to helping people heal and re-attune to nature and spirit, they follow Fair Trade practices, hiring and authentically train local villagers to work as center caregivers - thereby helping them to help themselves improve their quality of life, raising themselves out of poverty through fair-trade salary and social integration into the fabric of a productive, helping society. By receiving healing, balancing, and rejuvenation at the center, you are automatically helping raise themselves local villagers out of poverty.
