1-Month Ayurveda Pancha Karma Training in the Himalayas

You may now learn to practice Kerala & Traditional Pancha Karma in our 1-month course. Whether you have previously studied Ayurveda, or are new to the field; we have designed a program to meet your needs. The program is in English.

You will learn:

• shiro basti
• kathi basti
• pizhichil
• pinda sweda (navarkkizhi)
• traditional pancha karma (vamana, virechan, basti)
• tridosha theory

The program is offered at Himalayan Vaidyashala Ayurveda Spa in Uttarkashi in the Himalayas ( see Spa details )

Schedule

• Training is offered 12 months of the year (begin any time)
• Classes are 7 days a week from 9am - 2 pm.

Teachers
The teachers, husband and wife, Drs. J.K. and Archana Chandhok, BAMS are respected vaidyas with a long-time record of community service - offering Ayurveda, developing the children's schools, and fair trade careers for the villagers.

Miscellaneous
-Experience authentic training in the heart of spiritual India. Study in the breathtaking views of the Ganga river across the road, and feel the loving embrace of the Himalayan mountains all around you.

- All Ayurvedic vegetarian meals

- Daycare available for additional fee.

Program Fees:
$2,200 - includes the non-refundable $200 registration and international fees. This covers your study, room and 3 Ayurvedic vegetarian sattwic meals a day during your month stay at the school spa in India. [Travel expenses are separate]

Options
Yoga
Classes are available for a nominal fee $35USD for the entire 4 weeks.

Daycare
Children can attend our local daycare facility and later, a loving woman will look after your child after the class is over. $50 per child per month.

Transport
Airport pickup is available for an additional fee from New Delhi ($90USD per person one way) or Rishikesh ($45USD per person one way). We can also pick you up from Dhera Dhun or Haridwar. [If you request pickup, you must confirm your request 2 days prior to pickup date for the car to meet you.]

Touring Uttarkashi
If you wish to remain at the spa for some weeks after the training so you can experience the sacred Himalayas, go on organized herb walks, Himalayan treks, kayaking the Ganga, visiting ancient ashrams, this can all be arranged for nominal fees.

Holistic SEVA
The spa-school follows Fair Trade standards, and employees local villagers to help them help themselves out of poverty. Your attending this spa-school helps support this social cause.
